Checkcall ("Checkcall," "we," "us") is a track-and-trace platform for freight brokerages, operated by Codercrew LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and who we share it with. It covers our dashboard, our email and voice intake, and the automated status-check calls our AI agent places on behalf of our customers.

Who this applies to

Two different groups of people interact with Checkcall, and this policy covers both:

Information we collect

From our customers directly: account and organization details (name, email, company info) when signing up or managing a team; billing information, handled by our payment processor (we never see or store full card numbers ourselves); and support messages sent to us.

From documents and emails our customers send us: load and shipment details — reference numbers, pickup/delivery locations and appointment times, and the names/phone numbers of the carrier dispatcher and driver assigned to that load. This comes from rate confirmations, load sheets, and similar paperwork our customers forward to us or upload — not collected directly from drivers.

From calls: when our AI agent calls a driver or dispatcher for a routine status check, we record what was said (call transcripts) and log it against that load.

How we use it

We do not use driver or dispatcher contact information for marketing, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Checkcall. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:

We don't share information with anyone else except as required by law, or with your consent.

Automated calls

We don't collect consent directly from drivers ourselves. The brokerage that booked your load confirms this when they create their Checkcall account — every brokerage must check a box stating: "I confirm that, before providing any driver or dispatcher's phone number to Checkcall, we will obtain that person's consent — verbal or otherwise, as part of our standard load-booking and dispatch process — to receive automated status check-in calls from Checkcall on our behalf, for each load we send. These are operational load-status calls only — never marketing or promotional content." That's the brokerage's ongoing, per-load commitment to you, made before we ever place a call — and a binding term of our Terms of Service, not just an account-signup formality.

If you're a driver or dispatcher, you may receive an automated phone call from us on behalf of the brokerage handling your load, asking for a routine status update on that specific, already-booked load — never marketing, never unrelated outreach. Call frequency depends on the load: typically a handful of check-in calls from pickup to delivery.

Data retention

We keep load and communication records for as long as our customer's account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for support and record-keeping, unless a shorter period is required by law or requested.

Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and role-based permissions — to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Drivers and dispatchers can opt out of automated status-check calls at any time by contacting us directly, or by telling the brokerage that booked the load. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, email us at the address below.

Children

Checkcall is a business tool for the freight industry and isn't directed at, or knowingly used by, children.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the date at the top of this page if this policy changes, and post the updated version here.
